Who we are
Peace & AI is a steward-owned organisation in formation. Until it is registered as a legal entity, these services are provided by Sam Hopkins, co-founder, based in Portugal. Contact: sam@peaceandai.org.
By using peaceandai.org or share.peaceandai.org you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
The website
The website sets out our ideas, positions and proposals. It is for information only: nothing on it is an offer to sell a product or service, or professional, legal or financial advice. You are welcome to read, link to and quote it with attribution.
The share
The share at share.peaceandai.org is open only to people we have invited by name, for a specific collaboration. If you have been invited:
- Your access is personal. Sign in with the Google account we invited, and do not share your access with anyone else.
- Treat shared documents as confidential. They are shared with you for our work together. Do not pass them on unless we have agreed that you can.
- You are responsible for what you send. Only send material you have the right to share. Do not send anything unlawful, harmful or malicious.
- Your AI assistant acts for you. If you connect ChatGPT, Claude or another app, what it reads and sends through the share counts as you doing it.
- Do not interfere with the service. Do not try to reach anything you were not given, or to disrupt the share for anyone else.
Ownership
Our documents remain ours. What you send us remains yours. By sending it you allow us to store, read and use it for the collaboration it was sent for. Ideas you propose may shape our work; tell us when you send something if you want it treated differently.
Changes and ending access
The share is a working tool that we may change, pause or end at any time. We may withdraw an invitation at any time, for example when a collaboration ends. You can stop using the share at any time and ask us to delete your data, as described in the Privacy Policy.
No warranty, and limits on liability
We provide the website and the share free of charge and as they are, without any promise that they will always be available, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from their use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you use our services as a consumer, you keep any protections the law of your own country gives you.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update them here and change the date at the top. If a change matters to how the share works, we will tell invited people directly.
